The goals of the HIA are to establish baseline demographic and health data for comparison in long-term monitoring, to determine the degree of need for new healthy food access options, and to make recommendations to Southeast Volusia Corridor Improvement Coalition (SVCIC) for increasing options to purchase healthy food.

The creation of this HIA Report was supported by a grant from the Health Impact Project. The views expressed are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Pew Charitable Trusts, or the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
